SEATTLE, WA — At least one person was injured in a crash Thursday morning that closed all of westbound State Route 520 in Seattle’s Montlake area, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident impacted the westbound lanes approaching Montlake Boulevard East. It was first reported by the Washington State Department of Transportation shortly before 10:25 a.m.
#TrafficAlert. WB 520 at Montlake there is an injury collision blocking all lanes. WB is being closed at 92nd. Avoid WB 520 if at all possible. Expect long delays.

Few details have been released at this time, but WSDOT indicated a rollover crash which caused a significant traffic backup on the SR-520 bridge.
By 10:52 a.m., all westbound traffic was re-routed off the roadway and onto 92nd Avenue in the Clyde Hill area.
