SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to an injury collision Thursday evening in Seattle’s West Woodland neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The accident happened at the intersection of 14th Avenue Northwest and Northwest Ballard Way. Officers with the department’s North Precinct arrived on the scene after receiving a call at around 6:54 p.m.
Few details have been disclosed, but police dispatchers listed the incident as a motor vehicle collision with injuries. At least one involved party fled the scene before authorities arrived.
As of this writing, the SPD has not released a description of the suspect or fleeing vehicle.
The number of those injured and the extent of their injuries have not been confirmed.
