KING COUNTY, WA — Authorities responded to a wreck Friday afternoon that blocked the HOV lane on Interstate 90 in West Bellevue, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the southbound lanes at Exit 11 to I-90 and was first recorded by WSDOT at 1:20 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the accident, but by 1:32 p.m., local firefighters and Washington State Patrol troopers had responded to the scene.
Traffic footage shows at least two fire engines and what appears to be an ambulance at the scene. Motorists were advised of delays impacting the area.

By 1:42 p.m., more than 20 minutes after the initial WSDOT report, the scene had been cleared to the left shoulder and all travel lanes were reopened to traffic. Officials warned lingering delays due to a visual distraction.
