PIERCE COUNTY, WA — Three people were hurt, one seriously, Thursday night due to a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 410 near Buckley, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident happened at the intersection with 254th Avenue East, in an area east of Bonney Lake. It was first reported by Trooper Robert Reyer at 8:24 p.m.
Authorities have not disclosed the sequence of events leading up to the wreck, but three passenger cars were involved. Medics and Washington State Department of Transportation crews joined the WSP at the scene.
A total of three people were transported to area hospitals. One of those patients was said to have sustained serious injuries.
A section of SR-410 from 234th Avenue East to Mundy Loss Road East was blocked during the response and investigation.

By 10:36 a.m., more than two hours after the initial report, the scene had been cleared and the highway was reopened in both directions.
