KING COUNTY, WA — Four people were injured, three critically, early Wednesday due to a two-car collision in Renton, according to the Renton Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene at Airport Way and Renton Avenue Extension shortly before 12:31 a.m.

Authorities said the at-fault vehicle, which had been reported stolen, failed to stop at a red light and collided with another car.
Of the six people in the stolen vehicle, three were rushed to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the victim vehicle suffered minor injuries, but it was unclear whether they had to be transported.
Roads in the area were shut down during the emergency response.

An investigation was underway, but alcohol and speed are suspected factors in the crash.
