KING COUNTY, WA — Authorities were called to a collision Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 405 in Bellevue, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident was reported on the northbound lanes at Exit 12 to Southeast 8th Street, in the city’s Woodridge area. It was first reported by WSDOT at 3:00 p.m.
Few details have been shared, but officials initially reported a partial blockage of the HOV lane. By 3:23 p.m., the right lane was announced closed as the Washington State Patrol and firefighters arrived on the scene.
UPDATE: This collision I-405 northbound at SE 8th St in #Bellevue is now blocking the right lane.
Fire and State Patrol is at the scene.

Shortly before 5:00 p.m., about two hours after the initial report, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened.
