SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported late Thursday afternoon in north Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident was reported at the intersection of 1st Avenue Northwest and North Bowdoin Place. Officers with the department’s North Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at 4:51 p.m.
Little information has been provided at this time, but dispatchers indicated a truck was involved. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before authorities arrived, qualifying the event as a hit-and-run.
As of this writing, Seattle Police have not confirmed any injuries in the crash or released a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect.
