KITSAP COUNTY, WA — A semi-truck accident Friday afternoon forced Hood Canal Bridge in Poulsbo to close for several hours, according to King 5.
The Washington State Department of Transportation reported the wreck on State Route 104 over the bridge on February 3, at 3:12 p.m.
Few details have been disclosed, but WSDOT officials said the semi collided with a barrier on the bridge. From 7:00 p.m. to about 10:40 p.m., a full closure in both directions was in effect, forcing drivers to be re-routed.
Crews were called to the scene to make repairs to the damaged barrier.
At this time, authorities have not disclosed the condition of the driver or reported any injuries.
