KING COUNTY, WA — Multiple emergency crews responded to a wreck Monday afternoon on State Route 516 in Kent’s Midway area, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision took place on the westbound lanes at Interstate 5. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 1:15 p.m.
Only the far left lane was initially reported blocked, but by 1:48 p.m., both left lanes had been blocked. WSDOT’S Incident Response Team, tow crews, and the Washington State Patrol had also arrived on the scene.
By 2:06 p.m., about 50 minutes later, crews had cleared the accident from the roadway.
It remains unclear whether anyone was seriously injured.
