KING COUNTY, WA — A crash Friday morning kept a right lane blocked for nearly an hour on Interstate 5 in south Federal Way, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes at Exit 142A to the State Route 18 interchange. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 6:55 a.m.
Authorities have not said what led up to the wreck, but by 7:25 a.m., emergency crews were on the scene working to clear the involved vehicles. Commuters were warned to expect extended delays in the area.
UPDATE: This is now considered a fully blocked right lane now on northbound I-5 just south of the SR 18 interchange in #FederalWay.

By 7:50 a.m., the accident had been moved to the right shoulder, restoring all lanes to traffic.
