KING COUNTY, WA — Emergency crews were called to a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on State Route 18 in southeast Issaquah, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Officials said the accident happened on the eastbound highway at Issaquah-Hobart Road Southeast, or 276th Avenue Southeast. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 7:30 a.m.
Details remain limited, but footage captured at the scene shows snowy weather conditions and indicates a tractor-trailer was involved. All eastbound lanes were blocked in the immediate aftermath.
Despite the closure, eastbound motorists were still able to get through the area by using the Issaquah-Hobart Road Southeast offramp and onramp. Long delays were expected in the area as emergency crews responded.
