PIERCE COUNTY, WA — One person was hospitalized early Tuesday after a rollover crash on State Route 512 in Puyallup, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident took place near 9th Avenue Northeast and was first reported by Trooper Robert Reyer at 2:05 a.m.
It was unclear what led up to the wreck, but authorities said two vehicles, including a semi-truck, were involved. At least one of the vehicles overturned as a result.
The driver of the passenger car, who was determined to have been at fault, was taken to an area hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
WSP troopers joined Central Pierce Fire and Rescue crews at the scene, where the left lane of both east and westbound SR-512 was closed.

By 4:15 a.m., more than two hours after the initial report, the scene had been cleared from the roadway.
This collision has been cleared. The driver of the causing car was transported with non-life threatening injuries.
