SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A man in his 30s died Friday night after being struck by a vehicle in south Everett, according to KIRO 7 News.
The fatal incident took place on the 7100 block of Evergreen Way, in the city’s Pinehurst-Beverly Park neighborhood. Everett Police responded to the scene shortly after 7:30 p.m.
It was unclear what circumstances led up to the crash, but officers had received a report of a vehicle and pedestrian collision. Moments after the event, the driver fled the scene.
First responders rushed the male victim to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
At this time, Everett Police’s Traffic Safety detectives continue to investigate, and a search for the suspect remains ongoing.
