SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Multiple agencies responded to a wreck Friday afternoon on Interstate 5 near southeast Lynnwood, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision was reported on the southbound lanes just north of 220th Street, north of Mountlake Terrace. Fire crews, the Washington State Patrol, and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) all arrived on the scene shortly before 2:31 p.m.
It was unclear what led up to the crash, but two right lanes were closed as authorities worked the scene. Motorists were warned of delays in the area.

At this time, the cause of the accident and the number of vehicles involved remain unknown.
