WEST SEATTLE, WA — A 24-year-old man was critically injured late Friday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in West Seattle, according to West Seattle Blog.
The accident occurred at the intersection of 35th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Dawson Street, in the city’s Fairmount Park area. Seattle Police and Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the scene shortly before 4:50 p.m.
Authorities have not shared the circumstances of the wreck, but the rider was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
A section of 35th Avenue was closed between Dawson Street and Brandon Street, but shortly after 8:00 p.m., the roadway had reopened and Metro busses had returned to their regular route.
No information on the other driver has been released, and no charges have been reported.
