SEATTLE, WA — At least one person was injured Thursday afternoon due to a hit-and-run collision on Northeast 43rd Street in north Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident was reported at the intersection with University Way Northeast, in the city’s University District. Officers with the SPD’s North Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at about 3:12 p.m.
Details remain limited, but dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle crash with injuries. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before authorities arrived.
As of this writing, authorities have not disclosed the number of people hurt or any details regarding their conditions.
