SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a wreck Monday afternoon on Interstate 5 in Seattle’s Haller Lake neighborhood, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident impacted the southbound lanes just south of Northeast 145th Street and was first reported by WSDOT at 3:05 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash or how many vehicles were affected, but two center lanes and the HOV lane were shut down as a result.
By 3:28 p.m., local firefighters and Washington State Patrol troopers had responded to the scene. Motorists were warned of delays in the area.
