SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A vehicle wreck Wednesday morning partially blocked a left lane on Interstate 5 near south Marysville, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident impacted the southbound interstate just south of State Route 529, northeast of Everett. It was first reported by WSDOT at 8:05 a.m.
Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the crash, but by 8:16 a.m., two left lanes were blocked as emergency crews responded to the scene. Motorists heading into Everett were told to expect delays.

Shortly before 10:00 a.m., nearly two hours after the initial report, crews had cleared the accident and all lanes were reopened.
