SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to a collision early Sunday that blocked all westbound lanes of Stewart Street in downtown Seattle, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The crash happened at the intersection with Westlake Avenue, near Westlake Center, northeast of Pike Place Market. It was first reported by SDOT at 1:55 a.m.
Details remain limited, but the westbound road remained closed for nearly an hour, suggesting a major accident. Motorists were advised to use extra caution and to avoid the area.
