KITTITAS COUNTY, WA — Authorities responded to a multi-injury crash involving fifteen vehicles Sunday afternoon on Interstate 90 near Easton, reports King 5.
Officials with the Washington State Department of Transportation at Snoqualmie Pass said the multi-vehicle accident happened on the eastbound lanes shortly after 3:00 p.m.
Details remain limited at this time, but due to the number of injuries and involved vehicles, a section of the interstate was expected to be closed for an extended time.
The closure, which impacted eastbound lanes from milepost 34 in North Bend on, was enforced shortly before 3:30 p.m. and lifted shortly after 5:30 p.m.
