SEATTLE, WA — A man taken into custody for suspected DUI Monday morning after crashing his car into a residence in Seattle’s Rainer View neighborhood, reports FOX 13 Seattle.
Seattle Police responded to the scene at South Bangor Street and Renton Avenue South at about 2:41 a.m.
Few details have been shared, but authorities said the male driver appeared to have been intoxicated when the Dodge Charger slammed into the home. Officers arrived to find the vehicle at rest in the home’s living room.
Two people were in the home at the time, but no injuries to those occupants or the driver were reported.
Following the incident, the driver was arrested for investigation into DUI and transported to the King County Jail.
An assessment of the total damage to the home was underway.
