SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Emergency crews were called to the scene of multiple crashes early Thursday on Interstate 405 near northeast Lynnwood, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred on the southbound lanes at the Interstate 5 interchange. It was first reported by WSDOT at 12:05 p.m.
Only the right lane was initially blocked, but by 12:50 p.m., all southbound lanes of I-405 at I-5 were shut down.
Motorists were urged to find alternate routes around the area as crews worked the scene.

At 1:34 a.m., over 90 minutes after the initial report, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened.

Authorities have not confirmed any injuries at this time.
