KING COUNTY, WA — Emergency crews were called to a wreck Thursday morning on Interstate 90 under Aubrey Davis Park in north Mercer Island, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on the eastbound lanes in the Mercer Island Lid tunnel, just east of West Mercer Way. It was first reported by WSDOT at 9:25 a.m.
Officials have not disclosed the cause of the crash or details on the vehicles involved, but two right lanes were blocked in the immediate aftermath. Emergency vehicles were seen responding to the scene shortly after, causing delays in the area.

By 9:53 a.m., less than 30 minutes after the initial report, crews had cleared the scene, and all lanes in the tunnel were reopened.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was hurt.
