KING COUNTY, WA — Emergency crews were called to a crash early Friday morning on State Route 18 in south Federal Way, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident took place on the westbound lanes at Interstate 5 and was first reported by WSDOT at 2:45 a.m.
It was unclear what led up to the collision, but in the immediate aftermath, all westbound lanes of SR-18 were closed at the interstate.
By 3:00 a.m., both westbound and eastbound lanes of SR-18 were shut down, and first responders had arrived on the scene.

At this time, authorities have not released any information regarding the circumstances of the wreck of the vehicles involved. It was unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt.
