SEATTLE, WA — Emergency crews responded to a collision early Friday on an Interstate 5 exit ramp in downtown Seattle’s Central Business District, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred on the offramp from I-5 northbound to Seneca Street. It was first reported by WSDOT at 4:10 a.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but the ramp, which was initially partially blocked, was fully closed shortly after 6:00 a.m. as authorities responded to the scene.

It was unclear what caused the accident or how many vehicles were involved, but an investigation was underway.
By 7:46 a.m., the scene had cleared and the ramp was reopened to traffic.
