SEATTLE, WA — A crash Tuesday evening closed a right lane on the Interstate 5 collector-distributor ramp near downtown Seattle’s Pioneer Square, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
WSDOT officials said the collision occurred on the southbound lanes just north of Yesler Way shortly before 5:30 p.m.
The circumstances behind the wreck were unclear, but the scene remained on the roadway for about 15 minutes.
By 5:45 p.m., crews had cleared the accident and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
