KING COUNTY, WA — A wreck Wednesday afternoon blocked a center lane on Interstate 5 near the Westfield Southcenter shopping mall in Tukwila, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes just south of Exit 153 to Southcenter Parkway. It was first reported by WSDOT at 1:30 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but the Washington State Patrol and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) responded to the scene shortly after the initial report.

By 2:28 p.m., nearly an hour later, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened.

Officials have not confirmed any injuries at this time.
