THURSTON COUNTY, WA — A rollover crash involving a stolen semi-truck was reported Friday afternoon on Interstate 5 near Lacey, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident occurred on the southbound lanes at Exit 109 to Martin Way East, near Northwest Christian High School. It was first reported by Trooper Robert Reyer at 2:03 p.m.
Few details have been made available at this time, but authorities said a pedestrian carjacked the semi shortly before it overturned in a crash.
WSP troopers and Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) crews responded to the site, where all southbound lanes were closed. Motorists were advised of delays impacting the area.
