KING COUNTY, WA — Multiple emergency crews were called to a crash Thursday morning on Interstate 405 in southwest Renton, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes at the State Route 167 interchange. It was first reported by WSDOT at 9:25 a.m.
Little information has been shared at this time, but the right lane was blocked in the immediate aftermath. The Washington State Patrol, Fire Assistance crews, and medics all responded to the scene shortly after.
Footage captured at the scene shows two fire trucks at the site and suggests at least two passenger vehicles were involved. A dump truck can be seen at rest in the gore point, but it was unclear whether it was impacted.
