SEATTLE, WA — A collision late Thursday morning shut down an Interstate 5 exit ramp to I-5 Express lanes in downtown Seattle, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash impacted the ramp and the left general-purpose lane on the northbound ramp leading to I-5 Express. It was first reported by WSDOT at 11:55 p.m.

Officials have not disclosed the cause of the wreck, but multiple agencies, including Medical Aid, Fire Assistance, Washington State Patrol, and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team, all responded to the scene.
By 1:13 p.m., more than an hour later, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
