KING COUNTY, WA — Two people, including a DUI suspect, were hospitalized Wednesday night after a head-on crash in northeast Auburn, according to KOMO News.
The collision took place on 132nd Avenue Southeast, near Southeast 299th Street, in the city’s Lea Hill neighborhood.
Auburn Police said a male driver in a silver pickup truck veered past the center line, causing the pickup to collide head-on with a vehicle driven by another man.
Following the wreck, the causing driver was taken into custody for suspected DUI and transported to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center.
The other driver suffered serious injuries, including multiple fractures. He was taken to an area hospital where his condition remains unknown.
