SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Troopers responded to a serious injury crash involving a semi-truck Friday morning on Interstate 405 near north Bothell, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident happened on the northbound interstate just south of Exit 26 to State Route 527, in the city’s Canyon Park area. It was first reported by Trooper Kelsey Harding at 7:16 a.m.
Authorities have not provided details on the circumstances of the wreck, but a semi and another vehicle were involved. Three right lanes were blocked as a result, forcing all traffic to pass through the area by the HOV lane.
🚨#SnohomishCounty There is a serious injury collision northbound I405 just south of SR527 involving one vehicle and a semi. The three right lanes are blocked. All traffic is getting by using the HOV lane. Please be patient while the troopers on scene investigate this collision.

The driver of the passenger car suffered serious injuries and was transported to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center.

By 9:26 a.m., more than two hours after the initial WSP report, all lanes were reopened to normal traffic.
