KING COUNTY, WA — Emergency crews were called to a collision Monday morning on a State Route 520 entrance ramp near downtown Redmond, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred on the ramp from West Lake Sammamish Parkway to the westbound lanes of SR-520. It was first reported by WSDOT at 7:15 a.m.
Officials have not provided details regarding the circumstances behind the wreck, but the ramp’s HOV lane was blocked as a result.
Commuters were asked to use extra caution as they approach the area, where crews were responding to the scene.

By 8:27 a.m., over an hour later, the scene had been cleared and the onramp was announced fully opened.
