News: 1 extricated after car overturns on 32nd Ave SW in West Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A 39-year-old woman had to be extricated from the wreckage of a car Tuesday night after a rollover crash Tuesday night in West Seattle’s Westwood neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.

The accident took place in the 7900 block of 32nd Avenue Southwest, near Roxhill at E.C. Hughes elementary school. It was first reported by WSB shortly before 10:30 p.m.

Few details have been released at this time, but Seattle Fire Department crews were called to the scene for a “rescue response extrication.” Firefighters were able to safely help the woman out of the overturned vehicle.

Firefighters evaluated the woman at the scene but no injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. No pending charges or citations have been reported.
