SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — At least one person was hurt Thursday afternoon in a wreck involving two semi-trucks on State Route 530 near Arlington, according to KIRO 7 Seattle.
The collision took place at 27th Avenue Northeast, just north of Smokey Point. It was first reported by the Washington State Patrol at 2:29 p.m.
Authorities have not said what led up to the crash, but three vehicles, including two semis, were involved.
Trooper Jacob Kennett described the incident as an “injury collision,” but the number of people hurt and the extent of their injuries have not been confirmed.
The intersection was fully closed as Arlington Police and WSP troopers worked the scene. Motorists were forced to divert at Smokey Point Boulevard.
An investigation into the cause of the accident was in progress.
