WHATCOM COUNTY, WA — One person was seriously hurt Tuesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle wreck involving a motorcycle on State Route 20 near Rockport, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident happened near milepost 130, in an area east of Colonial Creek. It was first reported by Trooper Jacob Kennett at 4:00 p.m.
Details remain limited, but a LifeFlight medical helicopter responded to the scene for one victim. No updates have been released regarding the patient’s condition, but the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Officials have not confirmed whether the person injured was the motorcycle rider.
A section of the road was blocked during the response and investigation.
