WHATCOM COUNTY, WA — Multiple emergency crews were called to a collision late Wednesday morning on State Route 544 near southwest Everson, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred near Noon Road at milepost 4 and was first reported by the WSDOT at 11:41 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the wreck, but both eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway were closed in both directions.
Authorities have not confirmed any injuries at this time, but medics, Fire Assistance, Washington State Patrol troopers, and tow crews all responded to the scene.
