News: Motorcyclist critically hurt in fiery crash near south Federal Way

KING COUNTY, WA — A man suffered life-threatening injuries late Tuesday afternoon in a motorcycle wreck near south Federal Way, according to KIRO 7 Seattle.

The accident occurred in the 100 block of South 348th Street, near West Hylebos Wetlands Park, at about 4:00 p.m.

Officials did not say what led up to the crash, but the rider was ejected from his motorcycle before it caught fire.

The victim was rushed to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

Responding firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames, but a section of the road remained closed as an investigation was conducted.
