LEWIS COUNTY, WA — Four people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after a multi-vehicle wreck on State Route 7 near Morton, according to The Olympian.
The Washington State Patrol said the accident occurred on the southbound lanes north of the city, at around 3:15 p.m.
An early investigation indicates a 30-year-old Tacoma woman was driving under the influence when she rear-ended another vehicle and caused it to strike another car.
The causing driver and a 30-year-old Spanaway woman in another vehicle suffered undisclosed injuries and were taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center.
Two other patients, a 34-year-old Puyallup man and a 79-year-old Packwood man, were transported to a Morton medical facility where their condition also remains unknown.
No further details have been shared at this time, but the WSP said the Tacoma woman faces a possible vehicular assault charge.
