News: Motorcyclist dies after hitting median on 132nd Ave SE in Kent

KING COUNTY, WA — A man died late last Saturday after a single-vehicle motorcycle collision near Wilson Playfields in east Kent, according to Key News Network.

The fatal accident happened in the 25100 block of 132nd Avenue Southeast on July 2, at around 11:00 p.m.

Officials said the man was riding a motorcycle northbound on the road when he struck a center crosswalk median.

Puget Sound Fire Department crews arrived at the scene to find the victim breathing but unresponsive.

The patient was rushed to Harvey Medical Center in critical condition and was later pronounced deceased, confirmed officials.

According to Key News Network, residents near the crash site have expressed concern over the placement of the center crosswalk median and its hazards.
