PIERCE COUNTY, WA — One person was sent to a hospital Tuesday morning after a semi-truck rolled over on State Route 167 near west Sumner, according to KOMO News.
The Washington State Patrol said the wreck occurred on the southbound lanes, just south of SR-410, at about 9:24 a.m.
At this time, no details on the cause of the crash have been shared, but the driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Photos taken at the scene show the southbound highway completely blocked by the wreckage and emergency vehicles.
It was unclear when the roadway was expected to reopen, but crews were working to clear site.
