KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle wreck Friday morning blocked two right lanes on Interstate 405 near a shopping center in south Renton, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on the northbound interstate at State Route 515, or South Talbot Road. It was first reported by the WSDOT shortly before 6:35 a.m.
Officials did not share details on the cause of the crash or the vehicles involved, but commuters were warned of heavy delays in the area. Alternate routes were strongly recommended.

By 7:42 a.m., more than an hour later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
