News: 2 injured as vehicle slams into Kent restaurant

KING COUNTY, WA — Two people were hurt last Friday afternoon when a vehicle crashed into the Pho Cat Sang restaurant in northeast Kent, according to iLoveKent.

The collision occurred in the 20500 block of 108th Avenue Southeast, located in the Panther Lake shopping center. It was first reported by Puget Sound Fire on July 8, shortly before 2:00 p.m.

Officials have not released details on the cause of the crash, but two people were treated for minor injuries. It was unclear whether the injured parties were occupants in the vehicle or the restaurant.

Firefighters with Rescue 7 and a City of Kent building inspector were at the scene to assess the structural damage.

At this time, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
