KING COUNTY, WA — One person was injured Thursday night after a collision involving four vehicles on Interstate 5 in SeaTac, according to KOMO News.
The crash happened on the southbound lanes at South 188th Street at around 8:15 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused the accident, but the Washington State Patrol said an altercation may have been a factor.
Responding crews had to extricate at least one occupant from their vehicle.
One patient was transported to an area hospital with a broken hip and injuries to their hand. The severity of their condition has not been disclosed.
Officials said one driver was taken into custody for an investigation into vehicular assault.
As a result of the crash, the I-5 entrance ramp and two left lanes remained blocked at around 11:00 p.m. the same night.
