KING COUNTY, WA — A multi-vehicle accident Tuesday morning closed two right lanes on State Route 520 near downtown Redmond, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on the westbound highway just east of West Lake Sammamish Parkway, near the Redmond Town Center shopping mall. It was first reported at 9:25 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused the collision, but the scene remained on the roadway for more than one hour, suggesting a serious wreck.

By 10:33 a.m., all lanes were reopened to traffic.
