TACOMA, WA — An extremely high-priced sports car was abandoned late Monday night after an apparent single-vehicle crash on State Route 512 in south Tacoma, reports KIRO 7 Seattle.
Washington State Patrol responded to the scene on the eastbound lanes near the Portland Avenue exit shortly before 11:47 p.m.
Details remain limited at this time, but authorities said a 2020 McLaren 600LT came to rest under a guardrail.
At this time, it is unclear whether anyone was seriously injured since the driver fled the scene before first responders arrived.
Photos taken at the scene show severe front-end damage to the vehicle.
According to the magazine Car and Driver, a new 600LT was priced starting at $259,000 in 2020.
