The Washington State Patrol responded to the scene near 88th Street Southeast at about 9:41 p.m.

A preliminary investigation shows a 44-year-old driver in a Cadillac was heading eastbound when they veered into the westbound lane. Shortly after, the Cadillac collided head-on with an oncoming Toyota Sienna.

Seven occupants in the Toyota Sienna, along with the driver of the Cadillac suffered various but undisclosed injuries. They were all transported to Providence Regional Medical Center.

The WSP traffic incident report indicates the driver of the Cadillac was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
