SEATTLE, WA — Two women were injured late Wednesday morning when a semi-truck overturned in Seattle’s Atlantic neighborhood, according to KIRO 7 Seattle.
Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the scene near South Dearborn Street and Rainier Avenue South shortly before 11:00 a.m.
The circumstances behind the incident were unclear, but a Franz Bakery truck had rolled onto its side. Firefighters had to extricate one woman who had become trapped underneath. She was then rushed to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
A second female victim was also transported to the hospital after receiving treatment at the scene.
Crews worked to clear the scene after confirming no one else was trapped in the wreckage.
