SEATTLE, WA — Two people were rescued after a collision early Thursday on Interstate 5 near Green Lake Park in north Seattle, according to Seattle Fire Department.
The accident happened on the southbound interstate near the Northeast 80th Street entrance ramp. It was first reported by SFD at 1:28 a.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but officials said a vehicle hit and went over a guardrail, landing on the southbound lanes.
Crews are responding to a vehicle collision over a guard rail and onto SB I-5 near NE 80th St on-ramp. Reports of two people trapped.

Two occupants in the vehicle were left trapped and had to be extricated by firefighters.
Both patients were listed in stable condition upon their safe removal from the wreckage. No other updates have been shared regarding the extent of their injuries.
