KITTITAS COUNTY, WA — A 20-year-old man died Saturday evening after a single-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 90 near Cle Elum, according to iFiBERONE.
The Washington State Patrol said the victim had been driving a 2006 Toyota Scion on the eastbound side when his vehicle left the road.
An early investigation shows the car veered to the right of the road and continued traveling about 50 yards before swerving left. The Scion overturned and collided with a tree.
Troopers found the vehicle flipped onto its roof at the base of the tree, about 30 feet away from the roadway.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, no further information has been made available, but an investigation by the WSP remains ongoing.
